The Battle of Antietam was a hard-won victory for the Union Army. The battle produced over 22,000 casualties in one day (the most in any one day of fighting during the Civil War). Yet, not only did it cause the withdrawal of the Confederate invasion into the North, it gave President Lincoln the confidence to issue the Emancipation Proclamation. A hand-rendered illustration styled after the vintage poster art of the 20th century, this design is available as a poster, framed print, metal sign, canvas, or as a set of notecards or postcards. This original national park art and travel art would look great on any wall in the home, or at the workplace.
